New jazz partnership for Pavilions

TEIGNMOUTH Jazz and Blues are going into partnership with the town’s Pavilions venue for the first time, staging their own Jazz Prom with Jonny Mansfield’s Elftet.

The event takes place today. Ian Roberts of Teignmouth Jazz and Blues said: “We are delighted to have this partnership with Pavilions Teignmouth which if successful will allow us to stage both big bands as well as musicians with high audience attraction.”

Elftet is a contemporary 11-piece ensemble led by composer and vibes player Jonny Mansfield.
