More staff for food outlet in town

-

A RECENTLY-opened restaurant in Hinckley is looking to expand its team.

Eat Lean Co in Market Place needs a new chef, as demand grows for its healthy meal deliveries.

The role would be an immediate start.

The shop has been open since February, with orders coming in from as far away as Scotland and Wales.

With mostly just one chef to prepare orders and cook meals for the restaurant, the company needs another pair of hands to keep up.

Amy Kind, who manages the front of house, said: “You don’t need to be a gourmet chef, just hard working and ideally with some experience in food preparation.”

“We’ve found it difficult to find a chef. A couple of people have got in touch online, but we’ve yet to find the right person.”

Eat Lean is targeted at fitness enthusiasts and other healthconscious eaters,

The Meal Prep option allows customers to have between two and five meals a day delivered to their home over a six-day period, minimising preparation time.

It offers a highly customisable menu, with customers selecting their favourite protein and then adding a carbohydrate and a super food.

The shop also has a range of breakfasts, including protein pancakes, omelettes and a healthy full English breakfast.

Amy said: “We have quite a big menu, and we try to keep the price competitive.

“So far we’ve only had positive feedback from customers.

“We stand out from other food outlets in the centre of Hinckley.”

The eatery is planning to run a competition in the coming months, with a prize worth over £150. It will include the three meals a day Meal Prep option, and a choice of supplements.

Over the summer Eat Lean will be serving its food at Scale The Heights, a series of CrossFit competitions in Leeds and Reading.

CrossFit is a branded fitness regime incorporating highintensity interval training and weightlifting.
