Play celebrating king’s internment to be performed
A FAMILY play about Richard III is being performed in Wolvey.
Uncle Richard was commissioned in 2015 by Leicester Guildhall, to celebrate the reinterment of the Platangenet king. The play’s creator, Tell Tale Theatre Company, is acting it out.
It will be happening at Wolvey Village Hall on Saturday June 3, starting at 7.30pm.
Admission is £10, with refreshments being served in the interval.
Profits will be donated to the St Botolph’s Church Burton Hastings extension.
