Vin­tage fair set to take place this week­end

VIN­TAGE lovers, fam­i­lies and keen shop­pers are be­ing in­vited to Hinck­ley’s an­nual vin­tage fair as it makes a re­turn this Novem­ber.

Now in its sixth year, the Hinck­ley Vin­tage Fair is set to fling open its doors once again on Novem­ber 19 at the Meet­ing Cen­tre be­hind the old Leisure Cen­tre, on Marchant Road.

The ever-pop­u­lar fair will run from 10am un­til 4pm and will be jam packed with 45 stalls sell­ing vin­tage wares and cu­riosi­ties, as well as fash­ion and retro trea­sures.

There will be a cafe serv­ing tea, cof­fee and a range of mouth-wa­ter­ing home­made cakes.

The fair will also fea­ture DJ Howl­ing Wolf, a DJ who plays vinyl records from the 40s, 50s and 60s, and a vin­tage-style ice cream trike by Mor­ton’s.

Ca­role Smith, from Vin­tage Trea­sures, and Kirsty Pol­lard, who are both run­ning the event, said: “We are wel­com­ing ev­ery- one to this year’s Vin­tage Fair.

“Al­ways ex­tremely pop­u­lar to all, whether you are a vin­tage lover or just fancy a fun day out, this year proves to be the big­gest yet.

“Whether you are look­ing for a cool Christ­mas gift, fab­u­lous fash­ion, beau­ti­ful in­te­ri­ors or even a slice of de­li­cious cake, there re­ally is some­thing for every­one!”
