SANTA and his elves will be delighting families across Hinckley this Christmas, thanks to the town’s official grotto.

The elves at Hinckley BID have been busy organising a cosy grotto at Hinckley Leisure Centre in time for Christmas.

The grotto will be open its doors on December 15 - 17, while families can also visit Mr Claus in his Hinckley home from December 21- 23.

Entry to the event will cost just £1 per child, while children three and under go free. Each child to visit Santa will also be given a gift.

Steve Wegerif, from Hinckley BID, said: “We can’t wait to open the doors to Hinckley BID’s very own grotto this Christmas.

“Santa has been hard at work to prepare the Hinckley BID grotto, and he’s got plenty of gifts to give out to the children of our town.

“With a new 2018 town centre guide, a Festive Fun Run and an amazing Grotto which the kids will love, Hinckley BID are planning a busy as well as a happy Christmas for all!”
