Santa goes to church for fair
FATHER CHRISTMAS will be following a newly-laid brick pathway to St Peter’s Church in Aston Flamville to attend its annual fundraising fair on Saturday November 18.
The event runs from 10am until 2pm with Santa expected to stay for around half an hour from 12.45pm to 1.15pm.
Admission is £1 for adults, and includes a hot drink or mulled wine, with children free.
Stalls will offer a range of festive gifts and trimmings including Christmas wreaths, home crafts, home produce and cards.
There will also be the chance to order a specially engraved brick to add to the new church path, as a gift or personal memento.
Turkey and hot stuffing rolls will be for sale and there will be a tombola and mystery bottle stall.
Top raffle prizes include a Fortnun & Mason festive hamper and a gift from Tom Payne goldsmiths.
Money raised will go towards church funds.
