Santa goes to church for fair

FA­THER CHRIST­MAS will be fol­low­ing a newly-laid brick path­way to St Peter’s Church in As­ton Flamville to at­tend its an­nual fundrais­ing fair on Satur­day Novem­ber 18.

The event runs from 10am un­til 2pm with Santa ex­pected to stay for around half an hour from 12.45pm to 1.15pm.

Ad­mis­sion is £1 for adults, and in­cludes a hot drink or mulled wine, with chil­dren free.

Stalls will of­fer a range of fes­tive gifts and trim­mings in­clud­ing Christ­mas wreaths, home crafts, home pro­duce and cards.

There will also be the chance to order a spe­cially en­graved brick to add to the new church path, as a gift or per­sonal me­mento.

Tur­key and hot stuff­ing rolls will be for sale and there will be a tombola and mys­tery bot­tle stall.

Top raf­fle prizes in­clude a Fort­nun & Ma­son fes­tive ham­per and a gift from Tom Payne gold­smiths.

Money raised will go to­wards church funds.
