New bridge needed in town

Hinckley Times - - LETTERS -

WITH Lidl preparing to open a larger store on Coventry Road, their current site opposite the dire ‘Hub Junction’ opens up an opportunity to tackle a major access route into town.

If the council were to take on the site, a new roundabout could be created, a new railway bridge built to allow two more lanes of traffic linked to the ‘new’ road layout behind Johnsons Dry Cleaners. This would enhance a major entrance to the town and ease the awful traffic congestion around Hawley Road.
