Music, laughs and dancing

-

ENERGETIC dancing, music and laughs will be coming to the Concordia Theatre for an age-old tale of boy meets girl.

The hilarious shipboard musical Anything Goes will be steaming into the Hinckley theatre from Tuesday May 8 until Saturday May 19.

The show is wrapped around one of Cole Porter’s most magical scores, and is described as ‘delightful, delicious and de-lovely.’

A spokesperson for the theatre said of the show: “Rehearsals are well under way for the Concordia Theatre’s May production of Anything Goes by the AOS.

“In addition to some energetic dancing with mops aboard the ship, the cast have been learning flag semaphore to see the ship off in style when they wave bon voyage and take off for an exciting journey on the high seas.

“If you have booked your tickets, you are in for a real treat.”

The musical was originally produced on the Broadway stage, but tickets are available for this Hinckley production from £11 or £9 for concessions.

Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.concordiatheatre. co.uk/shows/anythinggoes/ or by calling Mrs Brenda Watts on 07855 746520.
