Outing to see bike factory’s new visitor centre

AGEING bikers will be taken back to their heyday next Wednesday when this year’s outing for Hinckley 55+ Group is to the £4 million visitor centre at Triumph Motorcycles headquarters.

Opened last year the centre visit will be a step back in time for those who possibly rode BSA Bantams or other models of a similar vintage as well as a chance to see the bike Steve McQueen had in the film The Great Escape among other things.
