The Red and White forces face off fol­low­ing the Bol­she­vik rise to power in Novem­ber 1917


Bol­she­viks stage a coup that over­throws the Pro­vi­sional Gov­ern­ment and takes power with a man­i­festo of “Bread, Peace and Land”. Very soon, over­tures to the Cen­tral Pow­ers re­sult in an armistice on the East­ern Front.

Af­ter its with­drawal from WWI, the Rus­sian Em­pire faced its own dev­as­tat­ing in­ter­nal con­flict that would see mil­lions dead, and de­ter­mine the fu­ture of Eu­rope
