Switzerland’s conscripted citizens can call upon a powerful array of weapons, vehicles and tools

Switzerland’s borders are not just protected by the Alps but also the impressive Swiss Armed Forces. All Swiss males are required to do military service from the age of 20, which means that the country has more soldiers per capita than any other Western democracy. They utilise a fearsome array of equipment predominantly manufactured domestically and notable for its inventiveness and sophistication.
