In his new book Day Of The Rangers, Leigh ex­plores the Bat­tle of Mo­gadishu through the eyes of the soldiers on the ground. Over on page 52, he shares the first-hand ac­counts of Delta Force op­er­a­tives who were in­volved in the bat­tle.

GILAD JAFFE

As fight­ing on the Western Front reached its crescendo in 1918, the Pales­tine theatre was sim­i­larly en­ter­ing its fi­nal throes. On page 34 Is­raeli his­to­rian Gilad re­counts one of its fi­nal bat­tles, at the Daugh­ters of Ja­cob Bridge.
