Bri­tish homes are ill-equipped to deal with over­heat­ing, ac­cord­ing to the Com­mit­tee on Cli­mate Change, a cross-party group of MPs. The group is call­ing for ad­di­tions to the Build­ing Reg­u­la­tions to deal with the chal­lenge of ther­mal com­fort

dur­ing heat­waves. The Com­mit­tee also points out that homes built in the 1960s and top floor flats are more prone to over­heat­ing than pe­riod homes.
