Painterly porcelain

My dear 60-year- old granny has just gone into a care home and, while sorting out her house, we have found a few things that have restored some happy memories for her. This jug was in the back of a cupboard and she had forgotten it, but apparently her mother had it on display for as long as she can remember. She has no idea of its history, but would love to know more about it, please. It is about 7 ½in wide and 5½in tall.
