Tom is a furniture and lighting designer who creates products out of wood using the historic method of steam bending. You may have seen his home, a masterpiece of Tom’s steam- bending abilities, on Channel 4’s Grand Designs.

‘ It’s the work of French product designer Ronan Bouroullec that I love, especially his furniture. He designed a range for Hay with his brother – look out for the Élémentaire chair.’
