Well Travelled

A collaboration between interior designer Tim Gosling and Chesney’s, 020 7627 1410, chesneys.co.uk, has resulted in the sumptuous Grand Tour collection of fireplaces. The two new designs are carved in Italian statuary marble offset by panels of black and gold Portoro marble with hand-crafted grates of recycled brass. Prices start at £5,700 for the Rome chimneypiece (above).
