DAY 1 FLY TO ROME
You will fly direct from London to the Eternal City (regional flights and upgrades are available at a supplement), from where you’ll be transferred to the port of Rome, Civitavecchia, where you will board your luxury home for the next seven nights, the majestic Royal Clipper.
DAY 2 PONZA & PALMAROLA
On day two, you will disembark in the delightful, unspoilt town of Ponza, where you’ll see high-end yachts and traditional fishing boats moored side by side in the bustling harbour. Your next stop, Palmarola – one of the beautiful Pontine Islands o≠ the Italian coast – is famous for its pink coral beaches and breathtaking emerald coves.
DAY 3 SORRENTO
The pretty coastal town of Sorrento is one of several unmissable destinations you’ll visit along the Amalfi Coast during your trip.

In the late afternoon you will join world-famous chef Antonio Carluccio for a pre-dinner cooking demonstration on board Royal Clipper, followed by an alfresco cocktail party.
DAY 4 AMALFI
Surrounded by picture-perfect scenery, the beautiful town of Amalfi boasts exquisite views and historical highlights at every turn for you to enjoy.

Your informative walking tour of Amalfi will include a private cooking demonstration from Antonio Carluccio, whose knowledge of local recipes is second to none – he was born just 10 miles away in Vietri sul Mare. While here, you will also have the chance to visit the stunning town of Positano.
DAY 5 TAORMINA, SICILY
This morning, Royal Clipper will travel at full sail through the Strait of Messina and past the monsters of Greek legend Scylla and Charybdis.

Antonio Carluccio will give a private talk and Q&A on board Royal Clipper, where you will discover more about his extraordinary life and career as a chef and restaurateur. In the afternoon, you will disembark at the beautiful Sicilian town of Taormina, which is perched on the shoulder of Mount Etna.
DAY 6 LIPARI
Today you will visit Lipari, the largest of the idyllic Aeolian Islands, where you can walk the narrow streets to the medieval castello and unwind at a secluded beach. Look out for the frequent volcanic fireworks that burst skyward from the island of Stromboli when you sail past.
DAY 7 AT SEA
On day seven, you will experience the full splendour of being at sea, while you travel across the Mediterranean on board Royal Clipper, as she sets sail from the Aeolian Islands on her voyage back to Rome.
DAY 8 RETURN TO ROME
Today your unforgettable journey comes to an end and you’ll fly home on a direct flight to London (Rome add-ons are available on request at a supplement).
