Cash takes no prisoners
PRISON officer Hannah Cash flew the flag for amateur riders by taking one of four hotlycontested novice sections at Buckminster Park.
Riding her own eight-year-old Cruise Interest, by the Cruising son Bahrain Cruise, Hannah completed on her dressage score of 31.
“I’m a one-horse rider and Cruise has to fit in around work,” explained Hannah, who competed at three-star with her last horse, Mountain Warrior.
“I’d like to think that Cruise will take me back to that level again. Showjumping has always been my weak phase and I bought him [from Patricia Pytches] because he had done a lot of jumping in Ireland as a youngster. I’ve worked hard on his dressage with Tracy Woodhead and it’s all starting to come together.”
Hannah works shifts at Peterborough prison, including every other weekend.
“Time is of the essence and I need to be very organised to fit in training and competitions,” she said.
