ROYAL DOULTON The Lang fam­ily’s pro­lific win­ning hack, in­ter­me­di­ate and part-bred Arab cam­paigner has died at the age of 21. The geld­ing was twice run­ner-up at both Horse of the Year Show and the Royal In­ter­na­tional, and took ti­tles at the Arab Horse So­ci­ety na­tional cham­pi­onships.

YEALAND PREACHERMAN “Jeremy” has been put down, aged 26, due to colic. “He was one of the most con­sis­tent 153cm show hunter ponies, qual­i­fy­ing for Horse of the Year Show for nine years,” said his owner, rider and pro­ducer, Kate Houn­som.

WAIKARE Kiwi dres­sage rider Kal­lista Field’s for­mer grand prix ride has died, aged 31. The 16hh bay Hanove­rian mare by Witzbold was placed 18th in­di­vid­u­ally at the 2000 Olympic Games be­fore re­tir­ing at Kal­lista’s base in Pahiatua, New Zealand.
