TWO TO WATCH
Supernova, a five-year-old native pony owned and produced by siblings David and Amy
Bennett from Blackpool, took his HOYS ticket with David, a paramedic, before winning his novice class and then standing Moortown Stud ridden native pony champion with Amy.
The family has owned this pony since he was five months old. Amy, who is studying to be a PE teacher, will take the ride at HOYS.
My Country Belle, owned by Karen Raine and ridden by her daughter Rebecca, chalked up a raft of accolades including winning the Team Hykos supreme mini performance accumulator for the most points gained in working hunter pony classes.
Rebecca started riding this pony, who is by Karen’s own sports pony stallion Spotswood Jafeica, this season and displayed considerable style throughout.
