KE­VAN TAY­LOR has been co-opted as Bri­tish Eques­trian Fed­er­a­tion (BEF) in­terim in­de­pen­dent nonex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor (INED).

Mr Tay­lor’s ap­point­ment com­pletes the board line-up an­nounced by the BEF last week (news, 2 Novem­ber). As the long­est-serv­ing INED, ap­pointed in 2014, Mark Jef­freys be­comes se­nior in­de­pen­dent di­rec­tor.

The full board will now also in­cluded chair Ed

Warner, INED Deb­o­rah Smith and the four nom­i­nated by BEF founder mem­bers Bri­tish Showjump­ing, Bri­tish Dres­sage, Bri­tish Event­ing and the Bri­tish Horse So­ci­ety: Tim Hold­er­ness-Rod­dam, Lise-Lotte Olsen, Ju­lia Bid­dle, Christine Black­ford.

Also on the board are BEF coun­cil-elected di­rec­tors: Barry John­son, Jes­sica Cook, Jane Nixon, Claire Wil­liams.
