“He has a workmanlike head, which for me, is a true show hunter head,” says Di Jordan, who judged Ted at last year’s HOYS. “It’s not a big head, but it’s not a pretty show pony head either. He has nice-sized ears, which aren’t too small.
“He’s not short in front — some might say he could do with a tiny bit more length of rein — but he has a lovely head carriage and goes in a nice outline.
“He has a super, quality hunter pony head, a big honest eye, and a fabulous outlook,” adds show hunter specialist Claire Oliver. “He has a great length of rein with a nicely set-on front and an excellent, well-laid shoulder and good wither.”
