Horse & Hound - - News Insider -

THE International Jumping Riders’ Club (IJRC) has underlined it is working “with, not against” the FEI and other major stakeholders for the benefit of the sport.

French Olympic team gold medallist Kevin Staut was elected as the IJRC’s new president in December.

“We’re not fighting against anything, we are simply fighting together for our sport,” said Kevin.

IJRC director Eleonora Ottaviani stated the IJRC is not working against the FEI, organisers, nor the Global Champions Tour or League.

“These events are important for riders,” she said. “We are working to achieve our goal: to give equal chances to all athletes.

“We believe we are all in the same boat and are trying to find a reasonable solution.”
