SURVEYOR BEATS THE PROS

ADAM HARVEY saw off a raft of professional riders when he took CIC2* section C on Picasso V.

“I came to complete my qualification for the Blenheim eight and nine-year-old class and did not think I’d win,” said Adam.

The 24-year-old is a graduate chartered surveyor, working 7.30am-4.30pm in an office in Reading and riding his three eventers afterwards. Nine-year-old Picasso V, by Van Gogh, is his top horse.

“He likes to be number one and to show off, which makes him good at the dressage,” said Adam.
