SURVEY LOOKS AT VETS DURING COVID
THE Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) has published the findings of its third survey on the impact of Covid-19 on vet practices.
The survey, of 196 responses, indicated an improving picture with a marked increase in practice with a near-normal caseload. Fewer staff are self-isolating than the first and second surveys, and fewer practices have staff on furlough.
“This information is not only vital for our own policy decisions but also allows us to present a stronger case to the Government and other public bodies where we wish to influence the decisions they make that will impact the veterinary professions and businesses,” said RCVS chief executive Lizzie Lockett.
