Bring Christmas aromas into your home with citrus fruit, spices, fresh pine or cedarwood candles. If you have a favourite scent, try making your own fragrance. For a spiced
cinnamon room infuser, fill a pan with water and add five cinnamon sticks and thin slices of apple. As the mixture heats, the aroma will fill your home. Keep on a low heat and don’t let it burn dry.
To make pot pourri, cut thin slices of orange and lemon, blot the excess juice with kitchen paper and dry in a warm oven. Mix the slices with fresh pine cones, cinnamon sticks and a few star anise.
