STYLIST INSIGHT: CHOOSING CABINET COLOURS
Bold shades are becoming increasingly popular for kitchens. Contemporary, minimal cabinets can often take more vibrant hues, whereas traditional and Shaker styles tend to suit muted tones. For an alternative to a conventional palette of white, grey or black, think about shades such as forest green, smart navy or a rose-toned taupe – these feel reassuringly neutral while adding rich colour. Or, as left, create a neutral background that will allow a lively scheme, such as yellow units and a turquoise worktop, to really sing!
