What secrets will President’s tax returns reveal?

-

DONALD TRUMP’S attempt to keep his tax returns private was dealt a bitter blow after the US Supreme Court ruled they can be turned over to criminal investigators.

Some experts believe the disclosure of the President’s finances could prove fatal to his chances of re-election, exposing his deal to keep porn star Stormy Daniels silenced.

The Supreme Court ruled, in a 7–2 decision, that a New York prosecutor is entitled to see Trump’s private and business financial records, ending an intense legal battle waged by the US leader to keep them secret.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr is investigating whether the Trump Organisation falsified business records to conceal hush payments to two women, including Daniels.

The adult actress was paid £100,000 not to discuss claims she had sex with Trump just months after First Lady Melania had given birth to son Barron.

She was handed the money by Trump’s then-personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen, who later was reimbursed by the US leader.

The second woman, Playboy model Karen McDougal claimed she had an affair with the President before he entered the White House.

She was paid £116,000 by the Trump-friendly publisher of

The National Enquirer tabloid.

Both payments were made shortly before the 2016 presidential election.

Trump has denied the allegations of Daniels and McDougal that he had affairs with them.

The President rage-tweeted “NOT FAIR” following the Supreme Court’s decision.

For a man who promised he’d hand them over before he was elected, it makes you question why he put up such a fight.

It’s left me wondering if he has the same accountant as Al Capone.

We all know how that ended.
