Are you aware that your location is being tracked by your Mac? If you travel with a Macbook it records where you go, the time you arrive at a destination, when you leave and how long you spent there – and this information goes back months.
Some people see this as a useful feature. Companies can track their employees and it would be possible to locate a stolen Mac. However, other people may see this as an invasion of privacy. To see where your Mac is right now, on any computer, iphone or ipad, go to the icloud website and click ‘Find iphone’. Select your Mac from the All Devices menu at the top. Let’s see how it works…
