Are you aware that your lo­ca­tion is be­ing tracked by your Mac? If you travel with a Mac­book it records where you go, the time you ar­rive at a des­ti­na­tion, when you leave and how long you spent there – and this in­for­ma­tion goes back months.

Some peo­ple see this as a use­ful fea­ture. Com­pa­nies can track their em­ploy­ees and it would be pos­si­ble to lo­cate a stolen Mac. How­ever, other peo­ple may see this as an in­va­sion of pri­vacy. To see where your Mac is right now, on any com­puter, iphone or ipad, go to the icloud web­site and click ‘Find iphone’.
