Unlock a hidden ‘Dark Mode’

While not a publicised dark mode as such, it is still possible to invert the colours on your ios display so that they are a lot easier on the eyes in low-light conditions. to toggle it on, simply go to settings>general>accessibility and tap on ‘Display accommodations’. You can then toggle on ‘invert Colours’ from there.
