LOCATION The Kedleston Country House hotel is nestled in the rolling hills of the Kedleston Estate, a short drive from the vibrant city of Derby and a stone’s throw from the Peak District. ROOMS Its five boutique bedrooms have been individually designed in partnership with British designer, Plum & Ashby. Kedleston House was built in the 1700s, and although the hotel’s décor was influenced by its heritage, it’s been given a more modern twist for a calm, inviting and relaxed feel. The Scarsdale suite (shown) features a sleigh bed, chic muted shades of putty and pale sage, weathered-oak finishes and Plum &

Ashby’s Bertie-print textiles, plus a separate seating area to relax in. FAMOUS FOR Being a welcoming and comforting venue – its excellent customer service and locally sourced food are what the team is known for. As part of Derby Brewing Company, the hotel also stocks more than 85 hand-picked wines, world craft beers, its own real ales, a range of Georgian-inspired cocktails and even its own Kedleston gin, all served in house. CELEBRITY GUESTS Although the hotel hasn’t hosted any famous faces yet, its friendly team pulls out all the stops to make sure that every guest receives the full VIP experience.
