Welcome

It only seems like five minutes ago that the summer holidays ended, but here we are on the home straight to Christmas already! The Christmas run-up can be hectic, so I’m looking forward to sharing the organisational burden this year (just one of the benefits of multigenerational living…).

Pa Richmond will take care of untangling the fairy lights and sawing sticking-out branches off the tree with a bread knife. Ma is in charge of guest beds and bulk-buying essentials (we get through several tins of Quality Street before Advent even kicks in). I’ll sort out the meals, fill the drinks cabinet and stock the kids’ craft box with glitter and glue.

Whatever your pre-christmas ‘to do’ list, you’ll find loads of ideas and solutions in this issue – from new twists on your festive decorating style (mine is woodland, with lots of sparkle) to gifts and even a dancing Christmas tree, it’s pretty much got the lot!
