ADAM PENNING: I like to use small items of food. Carp are naturally cagier in the edge, so I want something a little more inconspicuous to try and get them to feed. A good mixture of hemp, corn, chopped boilies and some Clusters make for an enticing mix. There are loads of small food items in this mix, which gives me a number of hookbait options. You can watch the fish and see what it is they prefer and adjust your hookbait accordingly.
