Improve Your Coarse Fishing (UK)

Q I want to have a go for the carp in my local river and I have found several promising looking areas. What can I use to prebait that will help me avoid the bream?

JAKE WILDBORE: There aren’t many baits that will avoid bream but the best bet is to use 20mm boilies. You may catch the odd one, but they do find large baits harder to deal with. I would also use something sweet such as Manilla. Krill would be great for the carp, but bream absolutely adore it too. I would certainly avoid using pellets.
