Improve Your Coarse Fishing (UK)

Welcome from the Editor...

- James Furness Editor

WELCOME to the latest issue of IYCF. So which cover did you choose? Ali Hamidi or Dean Macey? To celebrate the launch of series 3 of The Big Fish Off we’ve produced two covers for the first time in IYCF history!

And in keeping with the theme of the Big Fish Off, all you have to do is go to www.anglingtimes.co.uk/iycfbigfishoff and click which cover you bought so we can see who is the winner. We’ll keep you updated with who’s in the lead throughout the month on social media.

We’ve also launched a brand new where to fish section in this month’s magazine. This is an element that has been missing from the magazine for several years but to bring it back we wanted to do it in a way that was totally different to how it has been done before. After wracking our brains we came up with the idea of cut-out and keep venue guides. Each guide features an overhead map of the fishery with information on key features, hot pegs and the best areas to target, as well as all the essential info you’ll need to plan your session such as recommended baits, ticket prices and rules. Every month, you can cut these out and you’ll soon build up an extensive collection of fisheries in the UK.

On top of all that, this month’s issue is packed with tactics and advice to ensure you have a great spring no matter what species or venue you intend to target.

And if that wasn’t enough we’ve also got four free Method feeders for every reader. Turn to page 103 to find out how you can claim yours. I hope you enjoy the magazine. Tight lines.
