HOW TO ATTACH A HOOKBAIT BAND

Improve Your Coarse Fishing (UK) - - Catch More Off The Top -

Hold your hook in a small hand vice (I got mine for a fiver from a local car-boot sale)

Thread pellet band on to a length of fine braid and fold the braid in half and pass both ends through the eye of the hook

Bring both ends of the braid back either side of the hook shank, pulling the two ends so the pellet band pulls up to the eye

Tie an overhand loop in the braid and, before it pulls tight, put a needle into the loop. Use the needle to ‘roll’ the knot down to the hook eye and pull tight
