Majestic river predators
Perch are arguably the most striking of the UK’s coarse fish species. With their aggressive spiked dorsal fins, olive flanks decorated with black stripes and crimson pectoral fins they ooze attitude. And there are no finer examples than those found in running water. The clearer conditions result in their colours being more pronounced than their commercial fishery counterparts.
