IYCF columnist Des Shipp doesn’t put his name to any item of fishing tackle if he doesn’t use it himself. So you can rest assured that if these new pole floats are good enough for Des, they’re more than good enough for us mere mortals! Six new patterns have been added to the range and all are manufactured to a high standard from quality materials.

This new pattern is not only highly visible but very strong. A Dura side eye is backed up by an additional eye on top of the bristle. It’s available in three sizes – 1, 2 and 3.

A diamond- shaped body makes this float suitable for a variety of tactics. It has the Dura side eye too, so it’s virtually indestructible. In 4x12, 4x14, 4x16 and 4x18.

This float is a bit of a beast! Featuring a 2.5mm hollow bristle and a solid glass stem, the Edge is the perfect big- fish pattern for shallow water. In 4x12, 4x14 and 4x16.

The ultimate F1 float, its diamond- shaped body, carbon stem and 1.5mm bristle make it ideal for maggots, caster and pellets. In 4x8, 4x10 and 4x12.

Great for fishing up in the water. The thick bristle suspends baits well while the teardrop body makes it stable. In sizes 4x10, 4x12 and 4x14.

Designed for F1s and carp in water less than 1ft deep. It’s highly buoyant so fish hook themselves against the resistance of the float. In 4x8, 4x10 and 4x12.
