With­out the stresses and strains of the work/life bal­ance or wor­ries of how other peo­ple see them, our furry friends can give some se­ri­ous in­sight into how to be present and en­joy what is hap­pen­ing around us.

“If you’re feel­ing anx­ious, or that events are spi­ralling out of con­trol, press paws! Spend ve min­utes mas­sag­ing the cen­tre of each palm with the thumb of the other hand, mov­ing in a cir­cu­lar mo­tion. Fo­cus all your at­ten­tion on how this feels. After a few min­utes you’ll feel less stressed, more re­laxed and men­tally alert.”
