New be­gin­nings

I al­ways feel like au­tumn is the per­fect time to start some­thing new and two things I’m cur­rently get­ting into are mind­ful­ness and the gym. They’re re­ally help­ing me to get into a bet­ter headspace!

Kin­dred spir­its

I knew I loved this mag­a­zine from the mo­ment I opened it and read the wel­come page! The men­tion of spend­ing time with friends and fam­ily and how vi­tal it is to our well­be­ing re­ally res­onated with me – it is one of my most-loved sub­jects.

Some­thing I re­ally ad­mire is how each page made me feel in­spired to go out and do new things – the self-care plan in is­sue three was my favourite. With all the tips, ad­vice, well­be­ing and ev­ery­thing in be­tween, in­clud­ing all of the beau­ti­ful il­lus­tra­tions, this mag­a­zine will con­tinue to have a place in my home ev­ery month.

A pos­i­tive jour­ney

I have never writ­ten to a mag­a­zine be­fore but after read­ing my rst is­sue of In The Mo­ment, I had the urge to tell you how won­der­ful and help­ful it has been to me. Ear­lier this year I was in what I thought would be my dream job, how­ever my man­ager was a bully and after eight months I was mis­er­able.

Thank­fully, I am out of that en­vi­ron­ment now and in a much bet­ter job, but I have never re­ally got­ten over the stress of it. One af­ter­noon I was aim­lessly look­ing around for mag­a­zines in the su­per­mar­ket when your cover page caught my eye. I bought it and it was sim­ply amaz­ing.

I used Natalie Lue’s let­ter-writ­ing tool to craft a let­ter to my old boss (and then burnt it, as she sug­gested); I cut out photos for the pull-out frames and put them round my room to re­mind me of happy mo­ments and I also down­loaded the Courage & Spice pod­cast (www. courage­and­spice.com) from the fea­ture.

Ev­ery­thing in your mag­a­zine has re­ally helped me and made such a di er­ence to my mind­ful­ness and mood. Al­though my ex­pe­ri­ence will prob­a­bly take me a while to over­come, your mag­a­zine has been the rst step to­wards hap­pi­ness and pos­i­tiv­ity, so thank you.
