The tea zone
Make the most of your morning cuppa by using it for a weekly tea facial – it might sound a bit bonkers, but research suggests that herbal teas offer all sorts of bene ts for the skin when enjoyed as a facial steam. Here’s how:
1. Bring your water to boil. Choose a tea –
chamomile soothes while mint will cool. 2. Put your tea into a heatproof bowl and pour the hot water over it. Steep for a few minutes.
3. When the steam is cool enough, pop a towel over your head and place your face approximately 12in from the bowl. Enjoy for a few minutes, then take a break. Repeat a few times, then moisturise.
