Jack takes a big step this week, as he leaves youngsters Amy and Ricky with their new nanny, Ingrid, for the first time.

The grieving widower has been struggling to cope with looking after the kids recently, prompting his brother Max to suggest that he hire a fulltime childminder. But when the enthusiastic lass turns up for her first day on the job, Jack is nervous after Ricky and Amy seem unimpressed. Will the three of them get along?

What’s more, with her long, blonde hair and pretty smile, Ingrid could be mistaken for a younger version of Jack’s late wife, Ronnie. So might the resemblance serve as a painful reminder for the broken fella – or will the support that Ingrid provides with the two kids help Jack to begin moving on with his life?
