New beginnings

The social worker comedy wraps up its second series tonight, and it might be the end for Al, who’s finally received a job offer. He’s all set to hand in his resignation and start a new life managing holiday cottages in Scotland – but Rose doesn’t want him to go. Speaking of Rose, she’s alarmed when she pays a visit to a family who are home-schooling their kids and senses something “weird and sterile” in the atmosphere.
