Chance to stake claim on new Park designs
The former Manston Airport site, near Ramsgate, will be earmarked for houses and business development in a new version of a planning blueprint for Thanet.
The council intends to designate the site as suitable for mixed development, in a move that will dismay those who want to see it reopen as an airport.
The site’s redesignation is a key element of the latest version of the council’s draft local plan, which sets out a strategy for the area’s development to 2031. This weekend sees the launch of a new collection of homes at Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after Repton Park development in Ashford.
A selection of two and four-bedroom homes will be released for sale at the development this Saturday, February 4, from 10am to 5pm.
Jason Stokes, of Taylor Wimpey, says: “Repton Park continues to prove incredibly popular with a wide range of buyers, so we’re delighted to be opening up even more opportunities for people to own a new home here.
“Anyone interested in staking their claim should mark the new phase launch date in their diaries to ensure they’re among the first to take their pick from the beautiful two and fourbedroom designs.”
The sales and marketing suite is at Park View, Sir Henry Brackenbury Road, Repton Park, Ashford.
