Homeowners craving some interior design inspiration for the summer could find some hot new looks at Taylor Wimpey’s Kent show homes.

The housebuilder works with interior designers to ensure the latest styles are displayed in its developments including those at Langley Park in Maidstone, Repton Park in Ashford and The Bridge in Dartford.

Among the on-trend showhome features for 2017 are solid wood flooring and ontrend shades such as blonde and pecan are proving perfect for the summer as they lighten any room.

Striking patterns are also making waves right now, with many interior stylists finding that people are wanting more daring, artistic shapes on their floors and walls.

Jason Stokes of Taylor Wimpey, says: “Summer is the ideal time to inject a fresh look into your home and garden.

“If you want some further design inspiration, you can always pop in and visit a show home at one of our developments for more ideas on how to transform your home.”

New Taylor Wimpey developments to be launched in the coming months include Waterside at Castle Hill, Ebbsfleet Valley and Three Fields at Tenterden.
