Cement a place on riverside development
Around 2,000 people have already registered their interest in the riverside homes that will breathe new life into a former cement works in Medway.
Redrow Homes has secured planning permission to build 210 homes on an 11-acre site in Roman Way, Strood – close to Diggerland and the Cineword complex.
Known as Temple Wharf, the development on the banks of the River Medway, will be a blend of properties from the firm’s Heritage Collection plus bespoke designs ranging from one and two-bedroom flats to three and four-bedroom homes.
There will be 158 homes available for private sale with the first phase of flats now available ‘off plan’ via Redrow’s St Andrews Park development in nearby Halling. The remaining 52 properties will be affordable homes, 40% of which will be rented and 60% shared ownership.
Prices at Temple Wharf start from £224,995 for a one-bedroom flat.
