Gun case trial

Two men will stand trial after denying stealing replica guns. George Gent, 21, of Thornton Heath, Surrey, and Ladi Mulliqi, 31, of Barnsley, North Yorkshire, are accused of entering a home in Fisher Street, Maidstone, in April and taking weapons and ammunition for the Airsoft shooting sport. Appearing at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Friday both were given conditional bail not to contact each other or prosecution witnesses. They will next appear at the town’s crown court on Friday, August 12.
