Aiming for t20 final spot

The Mote are through to Kent t20 finals day. They face Sandwich in the semi-finals at Beckenham CC on Sunday, with Blackheath up against Tunbridge Wells. Alex Fordham’s side reached the last four after a six-wicket victory over Dartford in the quarter-finals on Monday night. Tom Harvey took three wickets as Dartford were held to 117-7. The scores were level in the final over – The Mote 117-4 – when a Dartford injury saw the game abandoned with four balls to go. Fordham said: “We’re looking forward to it. We’re quite experienced in t20, we’ve reached the final twice in the last five years, so we’re looking forward to Sunday. “Hopefully, we can beat Sandwich and get to the final again.”
