Drugs supply raids bring five arrests

Police investigat­ing drugs offences in Maidstone have made five arrests after a series of morning raids.

The force arranged warrants for three addresses and visited homes in Fairmeadow, St Peter’s Street and Hart Street last week.

Stashes of suspected illegal drugs and mobile phones were seized from the properties in Fairmeadow and St Peter’s Street.

All five people arrested were detained on suspicion of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs.

Three men have been bailed, pending further inquiries, until Monday, October 10.

They are two 29-year-old men from Maidstone, and a 27-yearold man of no fixed address.

A 24-year-old woman of no fixed address and a 20-year-old man from Maidstone have been bailed until Friday, September 30.
