in the catamaran class. The former European GT15 & GT30 Champion will have a big task ahead of him as he searches for European glory in his first full season of racing in this class. Strong competition will come from world champion Matti JuhoManninen of Finland and runner up Latvia’s Nikita Lijcs. Also in European contention are junior Jelf Racers Jonathan Brewer and George Elmore as they compete for the GT15 UIM European Championship. Jelf Racing will be represented in all three European Championships with Colin Jelf racing in the F2 European Campaign. Tom Weeden won the prestigious Full Factory Winnerswear senior race on the Isle of Man. The Maidstone rider battled hard on the TT Mountain Course, beating Andrew Dudgeon in a thrilling fourlap race after being nine seconds adrift at the end of lap three. His last lap averaged 121.1mph, so he is now one of only 10 Manx GP riders to have gone above 120mph. His next outing will be at the Gold Cup in Scarborough later this month.
